2 Cambodian boys killed after war-era rocket explodes

PHNOM PENH, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- A war-left B40 rocket exploded on Friday afternoon, leaving two boys dead in central Cambodia's Kampong Thom Province, a local police chief confirmed Saturday.
"The victims found the old B40 rocket in the woods while they went to trap small animals; then, they used rocks to beat on it, triggering the explosion," Pen Sam Oth, police chief of Popok commune, where the accident took place, told Xinhua, citing the third boy, who ran away when he saw the two victims trying to break apart the bomb.
The ill-fated boys, aged 12 and 14 years old, were neighbors, he said.
Landmines and unexploded ordnances killed 18 Cambodian people and injured 93 others in 2015, according to a government report.
The Southeast Asian country is one of the countries that suffered badly from landmines and unexploded ordnances. An estimated 4 to 6 million landmines and other munitions were left over from three decades of war and internal conflicts that ended in 1998.
The country is seeking about 36 million U.S. dollars a year for the next decade to entirely get rid of all types of landmines and explosive remnants of war.

It would have been nice if some of the UN budget for the Khmer Rouge trial would have been diverted to train and add jobs for locals to help rid of the millions of mines that still exist from the warmonger nations that came there to fight for the Military Industrial Complex who funded both sides of battle.
But now they are pretending to fight for Democracy in those nations that they made millions from their war machines and munitions. Let's have wars, after all the people pays the bills. The Federal Reserve is not part of the United States Government, own by private bankers who control the money supply for the US government. And the US government knows how to borrow much much much money from the bankers that every person alive in America has over

How can I espouse freedom and democracy to Khmerland when in reality the land of the free and brave is rife with corruption also?
If the economic growth in Cambodia is not brought under reign, it could implode out of control because of easy credits on the vulnerable who take the bait to buying now pay later.
Hun Sen is not greater than the bankers who rule Cambodia. The banking systems are more powerful than political figures, they control the politics of that country and decide the peoples future.
62 individuals had the same wealth as 3.5 billion people, or the bottom half of humanity. Guess who's in charge of this world political system?

Hey, I got the solution for this 18 trillion dollar debt in America; since we live in a "democracy country" let's vote on this debt to be cancel once and for all and start a fresh slate toward a better future? Would this idea work?
It worked for Lehman brothers, and all the others that got bailouts from us tax payers via gov decision ---in this case the minority win instead of majority.
So democracy works two ways...majority win in political platform and minority win in financial arena. that is if they need bailout to stay in business.
Anyway, Cambodia need a bailout to rid of all the explosives that are killing people daily. Somebody was glad to bail them in and encouraged them to be planted for future terrorizing after the war is over. Just the share numbers of them is mind bungling. A lot time spent in planting them in the millions. Somebody sure love death more than life. Yeah, every way of man seem right in his own eye but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Haha! Love all of you guys's [conspiracy] theories! I am not trying to shoot them all down/deny or anything like that. But at the end of the day and in all practicality, there isn't a damn thing we can about it, now! Unless either drastic things or miracle(s) happen to get the HUN's out, we will all have to say - GOD SAVE CAMBODIA AND HER PEOPLE including Kal, of course or maybe School Of Vice too(?)!!!
