PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng, Minister of Interior, will leave today afternoon for a four-day official visit to Australia, Ministry of Interior said Monday in a statement.
During the stay, Sar Kheng and Peter Dutton, Australian Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, will sign Memorandum of Understanding on migration cooperation between the two countries, and will meet with Julie Bishop, Australian Foreign Minister, said the statement.
He will also visit Cambodian community in Sydney, said the statement.
Sar Kheng's visit is made after Cambodia and Australia signed agreement last year to take in refugees who have sought asylum in Australia to live in Cambodia. The agreement was strongly criticized by the opposition party and non-government organizations as well as international community.

Begin of Drgunzet's comment.

Do you folk see a very attractive looking light-skin female officer standing behind Sar Kheng? I bet you she is a Vietnamese. She does look like Vietnamese too, not Khmer at all.

When two countries collaborate, many doors are opened and opportunities are created for both the locals and the migrants. An example is our self storage whereby we welcome foreign talents with open arms if they have the necessary skillsets that are an asset to our business.
