You have reported this many many times. Are you sure you are not making "hate" reporting. In many countries, it is a crime to make hate speeches and hate reporting.
It breaks my heart when I read news about the wrongs, abuses. When I was a child a lot of wrongs and abuses happened against me. I had to fight numerous fist fight and bloody battles against the dark-skinned Asian kids.
So are you folks going to hate the Malay folks now? Are you going to blame the Vietnamese? Have you wondered why the Khmer folks always got abused by other races a lot? Thais are killing the Khmer in the hundreds every year, 65ish at the border and hundreds more in the interior Thailand as well as on the fishing boats.
Mr. Hun Sen loves the Cambodians and wants more jobs for the poors. He establishes and maintains stability so that the investors can bring business, factories, buildings to provide jobs for the poor.
But the oppositionn wants to grab power from Mr. Hun Sen and creates fight to drive away the jobs, "If I cannot have it, you cannot have it either." At the end, it's always the poors who suffer, while Kem Sokha's daughter still stays at 5-star hotels.
Seriously, look at the cars the opposition leaders drive. Sell one of such car, you can feed 100 Cambodian poors easily.
I hope the opposition runs out of tricks to create chaos, instability soon. Only then, the poors can have a future.
I know why Mr. Hun Sen cannot crack the opposition. The opposition has made a pact with a foreign power, "If he cracks us, we sell you the right to rescue us and take over Cambodia."
So, Mr. Hun Sen has to tolerate the opposition for the time being while continues to bring more jobs in to help the poors. Seriously, has the opposition brought any jobs, investment into Cambodia? NOTHING.
I feel very sorry for Mr. Hun Sen.

P.S. The best way for you to help Cambodia is small and simple acts. Get a good job, save up the money. When you visit Cambodia, just help the poors you see around the street. When you buy stuffs at the market, don't haggle with them. Be generous. The people will be well fed, children will get smarter, scores will get improve, more jobs will come in.
You keep playing dirty politics, fight Mr. Hun Sen and squeeze Cambodia, the poors will continue to sell daughters' virgin to survive, women will have no garment jobs but only prostitution to eek out a living.
I was told about some Vietnamese communities having schemes to collect free T-shirts, sample medicines at the tech conferences in America. Then they brought bags and bags of these to give the Vietnamese poors in the streets of Vietnam.
The problem with the Khmer is: They are to dumb to even attend any tech conference. You are inferior to the Vietnamese. You cannot do anything good. Prove me wrong on this forum.
The Khmers are good at one thing i.e. biting and tearing each other's head off.The Vietnamese are superior to the Khmers because they spent less time arguing among themselves. They focus more on their own individual achievements rather than to try and grab hold of the seat of power. It is mainly due to all this internal fighting among themselves that Nations around them took advantage of them. When one party had a disagreement with the other, they turned to the Vietnamese and the other would turn to the Thais. Hence, they ended up ripping the country in two's. At the end of the day, the people are the one's who would pay for their stupid ambition.

When I first arrived in America in my mid-teen, I worked as a coolie for the Whites. One day I was asked to move a pile of dirt from one spot to a different spot in the garden.
I was a skinny, weak and frail kid, so I only loaded the wheel barrel with half the load. But I was eager and worked frantically to compensate for my weakness.
After a while the White owner came out with a second wheeled barrel and joined in. He loaded his wheel barrel in full and also moved very fast.
I stopped and apologized, "I am sorry for being weak. Am I moving the earth too slow, not meeting your need? Would you want to hire a stronger kid?"
The White owner answered, "You are doing just fine. I just want to exercise and do some work too." Then he added, "You are our extra help. If you don't work for us, we will hire nobody else. You are the only one we would trust to bring home."
I was the school straight-A student, the future Valedictorian and State Scholar at the time. The Whites quickly saw the potential in me and poured in help and investment in me. But the key for me to receive such help was being humble. I always tried to be worthy to the Whites.
In contrast, the Khmer race is very troublesome. You are very ungrateful. I hope USA will deport as many Khmer back to Cambodia as they can.

My praise to you Drgunzet! You're the man. You sure know how to light the fire of anger among the Cambodians. I had to admit that being Cambodian myself that what you said are true. I guess rather than being angry, I would humbly accept your criticism. I think we Khmers ought to be slow in opening up our fouled mouth with our cursing and swearing but learned from the past mistakes. The facts of the matter is that many of these Cambodians on this blog don't even know how to mine their own lives but yet they want to advise their PM on how he should run the country.
