PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- As Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport is taking tough measure to curb cheating and bribery during examinations as part of its education reform, over 7,000 students have abandoned the second high school exams. The number can be the highest ever in the last 10 years.
"7,083 students throughout the country have abandoned this second exams," said Education Ministry spokesman Ros Salin adding that only 6,7000 students are taking the exams.
The result of the exams will be announced on November 4th.
