Hun Sen to meet Thai PM, Australian FM in Italy

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Prime Minister Hun Sen will hold separate bilateral talks with Thai counterpart Prayuth Chan-ocha and Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop on the sideline of the 10th Asia-Europe meeting. 

Hun Sen, accompanied by Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Commerce Minister Sun Chanthol, and other members of the Royal Government, left Wednesday evening for a two-day ASEM summit held in Italy's city of Milan, and will return home Sunday. 

The ASEM summit starting Wednesday have brought together heads of state and government of more than 50 Asian and European countries. The summits which takes place every two years,  is chaired by Mr. Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council. 

Srey Thamrong, a minister attached to Hun Sen, said that "the summit will discuss current challenges such as issues of border, terrorism, natural disaster, climate change, weapon dispute and Ebola."
