Cambodia has to protest stronger against deadly measure by Thai military

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Another Cambodian was shot dead on 23 October just because he was suspicious of crossing border illegally to steal a motorbike in Thai territory.

This is another concern amongst many Cambodians.
Facing looking-down-on by its neighboring country, Cambodia’s increase in note of protests to the Thai Embassy is not working.
Cambodians, who crossed the border illegally to make a living by cutting woods, and to just be being suspicious of stealing motorbike, have been killed like animals.
News of Cambodian workers shot by Thai military, has been repeatedly heard. Again and again, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has been sending notice letters to Thailand’s Foreign Affairs Ministry to condemn and demand Thailand to stop these unmoral acts.
A new protest note was sent to Thai Foreign Affairs Ministry on October 24 via Thai embassy in Cambodia. The protest notice was written against unmoral acts of Thai soldiers along the border, who shot a Cambodian man dead on October 23 in Surin province just because he was suspicious of stealing a motorbike. Yet, the notice has not made Thailand to stop their soldiers’ cruel acts.
It is true that some Cambodians have illegally crossed the border to Thailand everyday.
The poor are merely trying to make a small amount of money to support their families. To get crossed the border, some go illegally.
Are these Cambodians’ faults or authorities’ faults that they could not stop the people from crossing the border?
In any circumstances, people must not be killed because of illegally entering Thailand.
